Hundreds of concerned parents participated in demonstrations outside the New Jersey Statehouse yesterday in protest of the State's decision to mandate flu vaccinations for young children.
Protesters also turned out to support a bill that would allow for conscientious objections to forced vaccinations, arguing that medication should be the choice of the parent not the government.
You heard it here fist citizens of America -there is NO lawtha reqir you to vaccinate your children
MC, the article just stated that there is one now in New Jersey that will take effect this Fall. Even though my wife and I have our children vaccinated every year for the flu, I believe that it is every parent's right to choose whether their child is vaccinated or not. If your child gets the flu and my child is vaccinated, there should be no risk, or at least not a huge risk, that my child will get sick.
Wow mandatory flu vaccines? What's next? Mandatory RFID chips?
One step at a time our rights and ability to choose are taken away from us.
This is a grave turn of events.
Good find, mars.
You know, it would not be that difficult for the state to educate it's citizens on the basics of influenza, it's transmission and what the vaccine can and cannot do for humans. Then let the people decide for themselves.
For god's sake, most lay-people I know think that there is something called a stomach flu. That's what most people think influenza is!
How about some mandatory education, New Jersey!!!!?
well i do not think they can legally mandate this...such as they cannot mandate you to take medication...unless of course court ordered through due process of law.
they cannot mandate you to lose weight and stop smoking...think the state is way out of bounds on this
