Hidden Spy Camera & Mic Found Inside Digital TV Box

Reason for forced digital switchover in US and UK: Government and industry watching us to build profiles, launch invasive advertising....

A popular video circulating on You Tube shows the discovery of a spy camera and a microphone hidden inside a digital TV converter box. Such devices are part of a government and industry surveillance program that is undoubtedly connected to the forced digital TV switchover being rolled out in the UK and US

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Watching us, huh?

Well, all they'd see at my house, besides do-it-yourself home/garden shows, and programs for the kidlets, is me shaking my fists at them and yelling about what a bunch of pompous, hypocrites that I find them to be...especially the far-out, far right Rushpuppy "officials" lol!!

Not sure I'd be of interest to them...unless they can tell me what to watch, and say "NO!" to everything else!! hahahaha.

Seriously, who has the time for this? Do you have any idea how many people you would need to watch all the people watching TV?

I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist myself, but this would be near impossible, IMO. Selectively placed, perhaps - but everyone? Nah.

When people, mainly democrats, preach peace, love, and equality to all.... imagine the tone change when I post. I used to be a Democrat, until the hipocracies of the Clinton Administration drove me over the edge. Lying to a grand jury was considered ok, I invented the internet (even though I worked for the government and was surfing said "internet" in the 80's), it's ok to lie as long as it makes people think, etc. Who decides when a lie is ok and when it isn't?......I didn't grow up that way, and while most of my views and actions would be considered liberal, I'm registered Republican (for the ideals, not the poeple chosen to represent those ideals). :D

And to be clear, it wasn't Clinton's administration that drove me over the edge. They all lie as far as I am concerned. It was the parties reaction to those lies I could no longer support.

Now that's all I am going to say.......it "outs" people for how they REALLY feal. I'm not even that big of a Rush fan. I listen to him sometimes, but I disagree with him on a lot of issues. Haniityrules doesn't have the same "ring" to it.

          Amen.

So "RushRules" means Rush the Rules back into politics? If so, I am impressed. Honestly. :)

Truthfully, I believe we have a one party system. It is so obvious they are all in bed together and that half the theatrics are simply to propagate and instigate fear into the citizens of our nation. Maybe we should discuss music for an hour prior to attempting any legislative business...it might roll over and promote peaceful solutions...you may just be onto something, Rush.

they are called 'nanny cameras'...you can buy almost anything--a book, alarm clock, bird house, a flat panel tv, a dvr, etc., with a nanny camera installed....some have motion sensors, so only record when something is moving in the room.....they are made specifically for those who entrust their children with babysitter's, nanny's etc..this government surveillance rhetoric is asinine....
